When it came time for these homeowners to tackle their kitchen remodel we didn’t have to look very far for inspiration. This husband and wife duo love mid-century styling and already had several iconic pieces sprinkled throughout their home. We used that as our jumping off point for developing a palette for their new kitchen. Keeping their original golden oak floors meant finding a cabinet that would be complimentary. We settled on a natural walnut slab style door paired with white high-gloss acrylic uppers to keep this small kitchen grounded in it’s mid-century beginnings while visually opening up the room. The marble slab backsplash was a splurge item for this project but an element we felt really helped finish the space. Paired with an all white quartz countertop this small kitchen looks both appropriate to the home and has all the features of a brand new kitchen!
