This project was a simple kitchen remodel, which made a big impact! The layout of this space only changed minimally, with most of the appliances staying in the same spot. We proposed shifting the garage door only a few feet, which allowed us to make the kitchen a few feet longer, and that’s all it took! By moving the door, we could create more countertop space and have appropriate clearances for each appliance. Reworking the cabinetry allowed us to maximize storage and add some open display space, which our client loves.
New flooring was installed, and we selected a two-tone cabinet finish with a cool blue for the lowers and a warm white for the uppers. Warm cream subway tile is both practical and beautiful. Ultimately, the space feels bright, is easy to use, and is perfect for this family who waited years for their perfect kitchen.
